44 years ago today, I started as a trainee fleet salesman at Torque Ford Strathpine.
My first manager, Peter Conder, was the manager of that dealership. All these years later, I’m grateful to all the people (or most of them anyway) who took a part in my progress from salesman to dealership owner. After selling down the dealerships in 2015, I started Car Business, a specialist new car brokerage company. And the crazy thing, at least to me, is that I’m still dealing with a lot of the same customers from back then.

A lot of people ask me why I do what I do and why I haven’t retired – the answer is pretty simple. I love what I do and will keep at it until I can’t anymore
