Thought that someone would like to know
I spoke to a number of Ford Dealers in Melbourne last week (17/6/2020) trying to obtain a quote on a new Ford Ranger for a Gold Card TPI customer. I’m a new car broker based in Queensland, but looking after customers in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
I’ve got a particularly good relationship with ex-servicepersons and particularly Gold Card TPI Veterans
Typically, new car dealers just see these people as an opportunity to make money rather than trying to look after them
Out of the seven Ford dealers I spoke with on the day, as of this afternoon, I hadn’t received 1 offer. Not One!
So, I’ve just called them. The general attitude was “Oh, sorry – I passed it through for someone to do”
What is going on with these dealers? If it’s too hard to provide a quote, perhaps a ‘no thanks we’re busy’ response would have been acceptable. Surely it’s not so busy to get some respect?
If you’re a Ford Dealer in Victoria and you’d like to provide a quote for my customer(s), you should probably give me a call
And if you’re in the market for a new car get in touch with me. I guarantee that despite their lack of interest, I will secure prices from new car dealers on whatever brand and model that you’d like.
